Have questions? We have answers
Our goals are to:
- Prepare students to be productive members of society.
- Engage students in campus life.
- Create experiences that prepare students for success at PSC and beyond.
- Offer programs and services that promote healthy lifestyle choices.
- Nurture and model a caring and inclusive culture where all students are welcome.
An array of fun as well as educational activities and recreational programs are planned including intramural sports like flag football, basketball and volleyball, outdoor adventure activities such as paintball, camping, biking, and kayaking (students can sign out kayaks and bikes from the Rec Center), Quadfest, guest speakers and theme weeks on topics such as Appalachian Heritage, Women’s Empowerment, Native American Culture, and Black History.
We also work with WVU-Morgantown to arrange for PSC students to attend WVU football and basketball games, as tickets are made available to us. PSC students are also invited to participate in Adventure WV programs.
The Student Union has nightly activities throughout the school week including activities such as Pinterest Night, Gamers Night, dances, Bingo, and movies, to name a few.
Please check out the College’s Event Calendar to see what is happening on campus.
One of the many advantages of attending WVU/PSC is the opportunity to immerse yourself in student organizations. There are over twenty active student organizations. Surely, there is at least one that sparks your interest. If you were a student leader in high school, you will have many opportunities to be one in college.
Interested in intercollegiate athletics? PSC fields eleven teams including Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Volleyball, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Softball and Baseball.
Our goal is your success, so don't hesitate to contact me, or anyone in Student Life
if you have a question, a concern, or an idea to enhance your life at West Virginia
University/Potomac State College.
Good luck on your educational journey.
Sincerely,
Lucas Taylor
