SGA President and Vice President Qualifications
PSC's Student Government Association will be accepting nominations for President and Vice President for the 2022-2023 academic year. Interested students MUST meet the following qualifications:
- Candidates must be in good social and academic standing.
- Good academic standing for President and Vice-President is defined as a 2.5 or higher cumulative Grade Point Average.
- Good social standing is defined as no major or minor criminal or student conduct violations.
- Candidates must have completed at least twenty-four (24) credit hours.
- Candidates must be full-time students carrying a minimum of twelve (12) credits hours at the time of them declaring to run for office.
- Candidates must be enrolled in six (6) credit hours of classes that meet at Potomac State College of West Virginia University.
Candidates can self-nominate at any pop-up event scheduled on April 5th, 6th, and 7th and should be prepared to campaign the week of April 11th - 15th. Campus-wide elections will take place the week of April 18th and winners will transition into their roles at the final SGA meeting on Tuesday, April 26th at 4:30 p.m. in the Student Union.
