Equity Across Borders

Want to learn more about diversity and equity? Want to meet other students from diverse backgrounds?  Looking for a way to get involved at PSC?  Want free food and cool custom designed face mask?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then you should consider participating in PSC’s Equity Across Borders 5-week program.

We are recruiting peer mentors and students who would like to be paired with a mentor to participate

You will have the freedom and flexibility to work together to determine the number of points each of you can earn and how quickly you earn them.  Points can be earned in the following ways:

  • Studying together
  • Eating meals together
  • Attending weekly group meetings with free food
  • Keeping a weekly journal of experiences in the program
  • Doing community service together
  • Attending discussions pertaining to the Campus Read book

Prizes will be given out at the end of the program. Participants will receive a copy of “The Girl Who Smiled Beads: A Story of War and What Comes After.”

Each participant who earns at least 10 points will receive a free, custom-made program face mask after the 5 weeks. Free food during group meetings. Don’t worry, group meetings will be held safely.

If you are interested or have questions, please fill out the online application or email Nicole Chadderton at prior to September 21.

This is a first-come first-serve opportunity and there are a limited number of spaces available for the program.  If you are interested, act now.
